Ferguson Plarre has teamed up with renowned Melbourne chef, author and TV personality Chef Darren Purchese to bake you happy this winter! Over the past few months Darren has been working tirelessly with the Ferguson Plarre bakery team to create a completely new range of pies you’re going to love. With new flavours to fall in love with launching in August and September there’s plenty to look forward to this winter. Keep your eyes on the pies! 

Known for his innovative baking and love of great ingredients, Darren’s new recipes are inspired by the amazing produce of Victoria. The range takes familiar flavours and elevates them with quality ingredients from artisanal Victorian producers including wine from Fowles and cheddar from the Maffra Cheese Company.

Slow Cooked Beef Cheek & Shiraz Pie

Ferguson Plarre are kicking things off with a winter classic: the Slow Cooked Beef Cheek & Shiraz Pie.

Succulent beef cheek and seasonal vegetables, slowly braised in a Fowles Farm to Table Shiraz, hand-finished in their signature golden pastry. It’s big, rich and more comforting than a cuddle!

Cauliflower, Leek & Maffra Cheddar Pie

Ferguson Plarre has taken some of the best ingredients Victoria has to offer and created a Cauliflower, Leek & Maffra Cheddar Pie to be proud of. Fresh, local cauliflower & leek cooked in a creamy sauce and finished with an exceptional mature cheddar from the Maffra Cheese Co. Each bite is like a warm hug on a winter’s day.
